It may be to repent for sin that has defiled the city or area or to call for His kingdom ways. The focus being outward to see healing and reconciliation in the land. Prayer is to petition; it is communion with God, the focus may be personal, inward or outward. Prayer is our conversation with God, our building relationship with him.
